From a parent’s perspective:

Our daughter Juliana celebrated her 7th birthday at Mastery Martial Arts. Not only did we invite her friends but we decided to invite the family and have 1 big party for her, and to my surprise everyone of all ages had the best time ever.  How nice it was as parents to be able to enjoy the party and mingle with your guests. 

From the minute we walked in with the food and decorations to the minute we left  it went smooth and I didn’t worry about a single thing because I knew that everyone was in good hands with  Miss Rossi, Ms. Ricchutti and Miss Larkin (they really did make this a wonderful experience for us)  Mr.  Pezzillo led an awesome class for the children – they all had a wonderful time.  We had children there as young as 1 ½  years old and to my amazement they were captivated by the class and I couldn’t
believe at their participation level.

From the Birthday Girl:

I asked Juliana how she felt about her 7th birthday party and her exact words were, “I loved it and it was so much fun”!  Ask her about her favorite experience at the birthday party, “cutting the cake with a real sword”.  (I do have to say that once everyone realized it was a real sword – everyone was loving it).

When it came time to plan my son Jonathan's 8th birthday party for his classmates, it was only fitting to go to Mastery Martial Arts.  My two sons and husband take classes there and absolutely love it, so it was really a no brainer when I asked Jonathan where he wanted to have his party. 

However, I really did not know what to expect.  We had never been to a birthday party here before.  All I knew was I could bring in pizza, cake, drinks, pinata, and the paper goods..anything that I needed for the party. When we got there the day of the party, Mr. Pezzillo and Ms. Ricchiuti made me feel at total ease.  They took right over...Mr. Pezzillo with all the kids and Ms. Ricchiuti with setting up the tablecloths and plates and drinks, telling me on more than one occasion that I was to enjoy myself and she would take care of everything.  And did she ever...there was no detail that she missed...she made sure the pizza was passed out, the children had drinks and napkins...I actually got to take pictures of the kids and relax.  How many times can you say that you relaxed at your child's party. 

As for Mr. Pezzillo, he is simply amazing with the children.  We had children ranging from 20 months to 10 years old at the party.  He took the time to learn each child's name and called them by their name, genuinely compliment each one on something that they did and just made the party a fantastic experience for every one in attendance.  They did some basic moves, had some friendly competitions among themselves, and did an obstacle course (which was one of Jonathan's favorite things)! Mr. Pezzillo showed the children such respect. 

When it came time to cut the cake, what an experience for Jonathan.  Mr. Pezzillo comes out with a Samurai sword about as tall as Jonathan.  He and Jonathan cut the cake with a swift strike...the smile on Jonathan's face from that moment stayed on his face for days. It was a great day!  Everyone commented to me on what a great time their child had...some even signed up for classes (which was never pushed on them). 

My five year old cannot wait to have his birthday party there in a couple of weeks! Having a birthday party at Mastery Martial Arts was a top notch, unforgettable experience for all.

Just bring your child and party food and the staff does the rest. They go out of their way to make the birthday child feel special. Plus there's no messy house to clean when everyone leaves!

My wife and I decided to have our daughter's 8yr old birthday party at Mastery Martial Arts.  We were deeply impressed at the sense of empowerment the children received from Mr. Pezzillo.  In just a short while they learned concepts like discipline, character, focus and self belief, and the amazing part of it was that they had fun.  We highly recommend Mastery Martial Arts for the family.

We LOVED our daughter’s birthday party at Mastery Martial Arts from beginning to end.  The staff helped with every detail!  They set up, run the party AND clean up.  Just having a karate lesson at a party is cool enough, but the fun just kept multiplying. Our birthday girl loved getting to lead the group in a karate class. 

She was over-the-top thrilled to be an honorary black belt!  She and all her friends can not stop talking about breaking the boards AND cutting the birthday cake with a HUGE sword.  Top the party off with a piñata and you have 2 hours of a kicking great time.  Parents loved the immediate discipline displayed from their children and the kids loved the physical activities. 

A few parents signed their kids up for Karate classes after our party. And for us as parents THE best part was the party was FREE!!!! Isabella tells all her friends that her 6th birthday party at Mastery Martial Arts was her most favorite party.

Mr Gallagher,

I cannot express my sincere thanks enough to you for everything that you did for Riley's party.  He had such an AWSOME time.  The first thing he told me about was you letting him wear your black belt for the party.  That was HUGE to him.  He was so excited that it was your belt and not just one at the school. 

I have recieved calls and emails from parents saying what an awsome job you and Mr DiMucchio did. Some people even called as they were driving home from the party to say how awsome it was.  They were saying it was one of the best kids parties they have ever attended!!! 

We have never once regretted our decision in signing Riley up for Karate and have done nothing but praise you and your school and all that you do.  This party even more solidified what we already knew was a great decision in signing him up at Mastery Martial Arts.  We are honored that our child is a part of such an unbelievable school and the "family" of MMA.

Thank you once again for such a great party.  We will see you soon.
